ABC Announces the Fall 2008-09 Schedule

For many years, ABC struggled to find that perfect lineup of shows that would give the other networks a run for their money. Four years ago, ABC finally struck gold with new series such as Desperate Housewives, Lost and Grey's Anatomy. Each season thereafter, another crop of new series arrived. Confident that a successful primetime schedule is now intact, ABC is putting it all on the line by adding only one new drama series and canceling five others.

Will the 2008-09 lineup find another year of success?

Canceled Series: Big Shots, Cashmere Mafia, Men in Trees, October Road and Women's Murder Club.

Premise: Sam Tyler, a police detective living in present day, finds his world completely turned upside down when he wakes from a car accident and realizes he is now living in the year 1973 -- as a police detective!
